A J.K. Rowling Post (mostly Harry Potter)

I was originally planning a non-spoilery post about A Casual Vancancy but reading that has been postponed because of work and sewing.

Okay so while sewing I "watched" Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone , no big deal, I have probably seen it thousands of times, but after watching it I saw the picture below and needed to watch that scene again.

This made me notice that while looking directly at Harry's eyes he is leaning on a pillar. Snape is still very domineering, but something about how he moves gives the impression he looked at Harry's eyes and had to (very subtly) hold himself up. Since I looked this up on youtube, there was only the Deleted scene, which had him go right in front of Harry and sit down (almost as if to get a better look). The embedding was disabled, but you can view it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds6GqqxnMOg
**SO MANY FEELS**

Watching that video made me want to continue rewatching the series, so I popped in Chamber of Secrets. Enjoyable movie, but I forgot about that part in the end where Mr. Malfoy attempts to attack Harry in what sounds A LOT like avada kedavra. I google this to see if I am right and come across a blog that I think I have heard of before: The Last Muggle ( http://thelastmuggle.com/ ).

I basically read her entire blog this past week in my spare time on my phone (mostly the book and movie posts, skipping over the extra stuff). Reading it reminded me of when I first read each book (though the first couple are sort of vague). I think I want to devote my next lj post to the series that is basically my entire childhood, by going back and writing all that I remember about my first reading of each of them. The first couple will be extremely short, but I will do my best to remember everything XD

a casual vacancy, harry potter, nostalgic
