This place was really started to bug him. Sure, at first he could pass it off as a 'what the hell,' or classic bullshit scenario but the longer he stayed the longer it started to wear on him.
The boarding house was boring, too quiet, and he hated the land lady so he normally escaped during the day to walk around the town and look for anything inconspicuous.
It's what he was doing now, looking long winded as his green eyes fell over the same boring streets.
The streets certainly were barren. It had been a good hour since Sam was released into the wild and he still had yet to bump into anyone who could tell him more than he'd already learned.
Sam sighed with frustration and rounded another corner of the suspiciously quiet street, hands shoved deep into his coat pockets.
Brows drawn, he glanced up - spotting movement on the other side of the road. It was a split second before he recognized the figure, a wash of relief running off his back.
