Gabriel had never been a child in the strictest sense of the word. But there had been a time when he wasn't quite so jaded. Before the fall of his brother, when everything had been simple. God, his Father, was good and there and He loved them.
Of course, that didn't mean he hadn't been a goofball even back then.
He wasn't sure what he was doing here in this strange body--- and what was this creature he was wearing, anyway? He wasn't familiar. It could hardly do justice to his true form and he seemed to be powerless. But that was alright. His Father must have done this. So like any good son is want to do, Gabriel planned to enjoy it.
He spotted another young hairless ape that looked about the same age as the body he was wearing and grinned. A new friend? Gabriel leaned down and snatched some snow off the railing of the porch and tossed the balled up snow at the head of the young ape. Then he waved emphatically at him.
"Throwing rocks at... the thing over there." he shrugged, then chuckled to himself like Dean had just told a very funny joke, "No, I'm not from around here at all."
"It's a state? An emotion? Like... being happy or sad? You're kansas?" Gabriel blinked, frowning a little, at the question, "And I don't have a problem. I was just asking."
"I've got my Dad, then loads of brothers. But Luci and Micheal are my bigger brothers. They look after me Luci teaches me fun games. Micheal..." he scratched his head, "lectures us..."
His head tilted with a frown, "There's a creek? I don't see any creek."

Gabriel looked at his rock tossing curiously, "What are you doing?"

This kid must've been new or something. Tossing rocks was tossing rocks.
"D'you live around here?"

Dean didn't want to push his boundaries but maybe this was one of those things his Dad dealt with.

Dean's knees bobbed on the porch and he scooted in place. "Kansas."

Gabriel sat very close next to him. Personal space? What was that?
"Where's Kansas? I haven't heard of it."

Dean leered back away from him and moved a little on the porch step.

This kid was weird, definitely not from around here or what he was used to. He eyed him warily.

Dean explained, trying at least to be somewhat comradely. "Looks like you're up the creek without a paddle just like me."
