Where: Town Square and Around.
Randal had spent the past day exploring the town, or what was left of it; thus far, he had found nothing of interest, which gave him something of a depressed feeling. There was nothing of interest, which meant nothing to do, and only the people who had inhabited the boarding house - which meant, again, nothing to do.
It was during his rambles around town that he felt the pull to head towards the Town Square. Having never experienced this before, Randal didn't think anything was particularly wrong with the situation and, in typical Randal fashion, assumed he had suddenly developed some sort of super power that alerted him when there was trouble.
So it was that he went along to the square like a lamb to the slaughter, hoping he had also been given the ability to fly or turn invisible. That'd be sweet.
