old gryphon - progress
M'kay, I've found my strong will to be regular again. I wonder how long it'll last. xD
My idea for this lj was to keep place for sketches, roughs, works in progress and other hopefully interesting art related stuff. I don't mind if it wouldn't play the role of comented gallery as I've seen it more as the archive page, shared depending of the occasion. So, following the original idea, I'm going back few months from now and post some stuff I inteded to show some time ago. xd
Painting this piece was a god opportunity to try out a very interesting tutorial I found on dA:

All done in photoshop and mostly carefully following the tutorial, although at the step of painting on multiply layer and upper - with normal, soft light and overlay mode I tried to enrich the picture with textures - mostly taken from cgtextures which is a really great source (and totally free!).
