For Narnia, and for Aslan!
I finally beat the Chronicles of Narnia computer game. Of course, I kinda gave up on it for awhile, but then I found a cheat code that lets you skip levels, and I figured, "hey, I almost finished this level, so I don't feel bad about using the cheat". Also, that level (the Battle of Beruna) was sadistically hard. And I'm playing the game on the normal level. First you have to beat back several waves of enemies, and then a giant shows up. One giant: not too hard. Then two giants show up, and I'm thinking "okay, I can handle this, it'll just take longer". So I kill the two giants by rolling bundles of sticks at them. And three giants show up and I'm like: you have got kidding me. I can kill two of the giants, but the third one always makes it past me, er, Peter and Edmund, and kills the centaur archers. And I loose the level. Apparently there's one more baddie after the three giants, but I don't even want to know what that is. So anyway, after that level, the game isn't so bad. And the levels before it aren't too bad either, so it seems that the game developers just stuck this one sadistically hard level in there because they could. Other than that, it's a fun game. Nice graphics too.
