Pieces of MAC, Benefit and Indelible
Sorry I've been procrastinating on posting an entry because I'm totally in the holiday mood! And the great food! Oh and I'm so exhausted after spring-cleaning my room. My skincare and makeup are kinda taking up too much space on my bay window and I hate the cluttered look, especially with my everyday minerals collection. Organizing my EDM is really a challenge for me. I haven't found the perfect way to organize them despite my trips to Daiso and Ikea.
Anyway, I got a couple of small purchases from sprees and stuff in the mail. My MAC F&F and UD are still with vpost, so after CNY for that I guess :(
See what I've acquired this week!
L-R: MAC Holiday 2008 6 Classic Eyes, MAC Fluidline in Shade. These are the two exchange that were purchased wrongly by my Aunt in Cali. I'm really upset that Pearlglide Liner in Fly-By-Flu is sold out. Shade fluidline was my alternative but I just realized it's the same shade of green with the Indelible gel liner I bought. Ugh!

Look how similar Shade and Endangered are! You probably won't be able to tell any difference when you wear it. By the way, I won't be swatching Shade, I'm letting it go, BNIB at S$24 mailed. Its the same price I paid for after Cali tax, and I'm covering local shipping. :)

Swatches' time!
God, some of frosts in the palette are such a terror to swatch (there are 3 frosts). I mean, the color payoff is really bad, especially the green shade. I had to foil it with a brush else the color wouldn't show up at all. Seriously, I'm glad I only got one palette, the quality of most shades aren't the best from MAC.
Benefit's texture is really buttery and creamy. It goes on so so smoothly but I don't think it will last on me as a liner, I tried rubbing the swatches after 10 minutes and Benefit's smudged completely. I love Venomous! I think its a rather unique shade of purple. I really think I should go on and collect all of Indelible's gel liners. One or two at a time, I mean. When's the next MAD Minerals sale? :P
Didn't Hear It From Me is a nice color, especially in the tube, but I don't know why it doesn't look as good on my lips. I still like it since it's almost matte. Now, Tattle Tale is the pale champagne shade of base cream shadow I've always hoped for MAC will eventually release as a perm shade (so I'll never run out). I haven't wore it yet, but I have a bad feeling this might crease on me. Despite letting it dry for 20 minutes, I removed it easily with a baby wipe, I'm praying hard that this won't crease on my oily lids :(
Yay loot of the week! Oh I forgot to swatch Carbon eyeshadow, but its a no-brainer color - matte black. And yes, Carbon is for a MAC 15-pan neutral-smokey palette I'm intending to build up very very slowly, haha. Alright, I'm going to bed! Happy CNY!
