Alright, a couple rules need to be addressed. Please read the whole post; these are important!

RULES REMINDERS
Until recently we haven't had a problem with people not following the rules, but lately we've been having trouble with these two issues:

Ok, I'm really sorry for not following the rules.. uh. I just thought since Posters were allowed... other things might be too. Because posters include text, etc. And what was in the fake ID cards were manipulated pictures, so I did think it somehow involved manipulation in some way.

Don't be sorry, it's completely fine. I'm not upset at any of the members, and I hope I didn't come off that way - I just wanted to clarify things again. I understand your logic there, but I didn't open this community or make the rules so I feel that what red_dress7 came up with is what we should follow. The cards were brilliant, like I said, but they didn't actually involve manipulation of a picture, per se. (They involved lots of creative text and some emblem usage, of course.)

So, again, apologies - but I'm sure there are tons of your fans going gaga over them anyway. :)

I kinda disagree with you for publicly 'outting' me and the others for breaking the rules when they could've been a misunderstanding (looks like that's the case for the person above me). I fixed my post before you posted this and the only reason that it didn't follow the rules is because I found the wording of the rule confusing - I did read the rules.

Instead of saying:

You are allowed to post icons, wallpapers, fanfiction, etc. based off of your manipulation under a cut, but please do not put previews for them outside of the cut (other than a preview for the manipulation itself), other than saying something like “icons and wallpaper included”.

Why don't you just say "only post a thumbnail of your original manip outside of a cut. Any other graphics created from the manip need to be under a cut"? A lot simpler and MUCH less confusing.

You can take my name off of the 'bad posters' list now thanks.

I'm sorry that you felt insulted by my putting your name in the post. I didn't attack you or say that you were bad members, just to please simply check your post, because my commenting on it had not caused anyone to change their post. I worried that if I did not include names, everyone would think to themselves "Oh, that's not me, and move on." I only added names to call attention to the original poster - no one else. And I never thought that you didn't read the rules at all, but simply that you had missed some of the smaller points. I understand if you feel the rule was worded in a confusing manner, and I will use your suggestion to work on wording it in a simpler manner.

I've taken your name down, because you felt like you were being attacked, but please believe me when I never intended it as a "bad posters" list and I don't think it was portrayed as such in the post.

Sorry, I came on here and saw your entry after having a bad day. I'm also a Mod at various places and had just had to settle a number of heated disputes myself that morning. I'm a stickler for the rules and I really wouldn't want anyone to think that I broke any intentionally.

I think that perhaps it may be better to delete people's posts and then send them a message why instead of mentioning them by name. It is a little embarrassing if the rules have been broken unintentionally.
