it's all about the rules

Alright, a couple rules need to be addressed. Please read the whole post; these are important!

RULES REMINDERS
Until recently we haven't had a problem with people not following the rules, but lately we've been having trouble with these two issues:
1) Twilight Manipulations is a community for posting manipulations, not graphics. Here is an example of a manipulation (no text, no textures, no brushes)

This means no matter how cool or creative your ideas are, if you can't at least produce an original manipulation from which your art was made, you can't post it here.
2) You are allowed to post icons, wallpapers, fanfiction, etc. based off of your manipulation under a cut, but please do not put previews for them outside of the cut (other than a preview for the manipulation itself), other than saying something like “icons and wallpaper included”.

This means that although you may have made really cool icons from your manip (for example), you can't preview them in your post at this community. Please just post your manipulation and then write something like, "Also 10 icons from the manip."

Please go back and either edit or delete your post. If you do not, I will eventually have to delete the post myself (and I don't want to do that). If you see your post has been deleted for not following the rules, you are welcome to resubmit it once you have corrected the problem.

RULE CHANGE
red_dress7 and I discussed it, and we have decided to remove the rule that says "Question and request posts allowed." (If you made a question/request post previously, that is fine, it will not be deleted.) Instead we intend on making one request post where anyone can suggest ideas or pictures for a specific manipulation s/he is unable to make his/her self. This will hopefully aid the artists too who, if have lost their muse, might find inspiration in one of these requests.

Ok, I hope none of this came across as harsh - you are all doing a wonderful job - but every good community has rules and if you don't try to enforce them, there's no point in having them at all.

Your most humble co-mod,
Elisabeth (kissingdaylight)
