“A souk?” Clark asked, as he leant back against the couch, staring over at Lex, trying to hide the smile that wanted to cross his face.
“Yes,” Lex replied, staring at the screen.
“Did you just call it a souk?” Clark asked, biting his lip as he started to smile.
“That’s what it’s called, Clark,” Lex sighed, the corner of his mouth twitching up.
“Souk,” Clark said, the smile spreading across his face.
“Well, what would you call it, Clark?” Lex asked, rolling his head to the side to look at him, amusement evident in his blue eyes.
“Oh, I don’t know a market?” Clark replied, sliding closer to the other man.
“We have markets, Clark,” Lex said, turning his head to look back at the screen. “There it is called a souk.”
“And we wouldn’t want to insult anyone,” Clark said, dropping his voice to a ‘serious tone’.
“That’s right,” Lex replied, biting his lip.
“Cos there are so many people in the room who would get insulted,” Clark continued, stopping his slide when he was flush against Lex’s side.
“Exactly,” Lex answered, obviously trying to ignore the way Clark’s hand was running up and down hi thigh.
Grinning, Clark leant forward and brushed his lips across Lex’s cheek, covering Lex’s mouth when he turned his head, gently kissing him before pulling back.
“You are such a geek,” Clark said, hand coming up to cup the smooth cheek, thumb running across it.
“I am not,” Lex replied, rolling his eyes.
“My geek,” Clark murmured, before kissing him again.
