Gamer Chick

Well, I have finally found a new group and game to game with. It makes me happy, since I've always had a group I've gamed with. Back in high school, it was a combination of Magic and Medieval/Ancient Warfare, then in college I picked up D&D, Vampire: The Masquerade, Call of Cthulu and a Marvel RPG. My new gaming addiction is FMA: TCG (Fullmetal Alchemist: The Card Game), based on the FMA anime. Woot for being a fangirl! But hey, the group I hung out with last night at the club meeting was all guys...brought back lots of gaming memories from high school, when I was the only girl in my gaming group. And damn, I had not realized how much I missed guy humour; it's awful, raunchy and usually gross, but for some bizarre reason I love it. Probably because I have the same kind of sense of humour! XD Woot for amusing boys with my weird-self! Not to mention some of said guys are quite cute...mwahahah for ulterior motives! But not really...I just need a group to chill with and be a fangirl with. All in all, last night was a good night, although work yesterday sucked a bit. Not because of anything in particular, it was just a really long day, and I was stuck lifting heavy boxes over my head in order to move them because the handcart wouldn't fit down the aisle in the storage room. >_>

Working on assembling the materials for the two commissions I have. Those shouldn't take me too long once I have everything gathered. I have basically everything for the dreamcatcher, but I realized that I need a better ref pic for the portrait I'm doing. I only have really small pics to work from (about 3.5 x 5) and the customer wants the final portrait to be about 16 x 20, so I'm hoping I can get a nice, clear 8x10 to work from. Once I have that, I'll just need to grid off the paper and a copy of the ref pic, and then I can get to work on it. Good times, good times.

Anyone interested in commissioning me? I'm totally open to commissions!

I also have been tossing around some ideas for ToraCon pictures...hopefully I can sketch those out before the new term starts in December. Woot for pics! I'm thinkin' I might try submittin' something to Connecticon if I come up with anything interesting.
