Inspirations
Recently I've been hunting my muse.
There have been a number of things that interrupted me, stopped me from writing (and no, I don't mean writing this journal...), and as a resutl I've been doing my best to find things to inspire new thoughts and new ideas.
Here are some of the things that have helped me:
Books
- Though not strictly books, the writing of Brian Michael Bendis. The man is a genius

- Story by Robert McKee. Just started this one, seems full of promise and comes very highly recommended.
Movies
- Garden State. Introduced to me by AJ (returned the favour at Christmas time) a movie that showed me that not everything ahd to be magic and fireworks to touch on something deep and important. A move away from my more recent likes- ie: Religious Thrillers & Comic Adaptations.
If you know Zach Braff from scrubs, this will show you a whole new side of an amazing person

Music
- 3Doors Down; Seventeen Days. I don't know if this has gotten out back over in Aus, but I love their stuff, so its almost been a homecoming for me.
Art
- David Mack. My God! This man is incredible. Take a look at his work on Daredevil, and don't let the whole 'Comic' aspect put you off. His work normally wouldn't see anything mainstream, but it is very very impressive!
