Round six, both contenders look tired.
In the yellow trunks our contender is looking strong but inside is slowly being destroyed by cancer. His body, while impressive, seems to be tearing itself apart. He probably won't live much longer, regardless of the outcome of this fight.
In the white trunks is a small thing, whithout wanting to get into david and goliath parables, can't help but wonder what this little fella is going to get out of this one - he is already bleeding and has basically sat there through five rounds of beatings. Still, he seems to be standing on his own two feet, somehow.
Yellow swings, but its a wild swing, he's let his emotion get to him and is flailing wildly! White ducks under his blow... waits... he's seen an opening -GOD-!!! WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT HIT!!
Thats it! yellow is DOWN! We have a winner!
It seems that... YES... TWILIGHTDANCER HAS QUIT HIS JOB!!!!!! WHOOO HOOO!!
Ok... melodrama aside! Renouf (whose staff colour is yellow... ICK!) is a horrible place, eating itself away. The owner is a spinless man, and the 2IC is prone to "unusual" mood swings... perhaps not natural? ;) And he is allowed to get away with murder.
Last night the 2IC turned to a friend of mine, who happens to be a TINY asian girl while he is an ex champion body builder, told her she wasn't doing her job right.... thats fine.... he said he wanted to talk to her... thats fine.... he pushed her fairly hard towards reception.... NOT fine.... her called her a, and I quote, "Fucking Bitch".... NOT FREAKING WELL FINE!
So, I quit. I there were problems with the workplace as it was... but this? NO, I can not and will not work for a man like that. I like to feel I have more self respect and morals than would allow it (Slowly getting down off high horse)... thing is, I've convinved the afternoon receptionist to quit, possible the morning receptionist, and EVEN the accountant!.. they are heading for HARD times... they only have 3 trainers, one salesperson, and two management personel left!.... Its going to be a fun ride down the crapper for them, and I am GLAD I am out of there.
Anyone know any jobs going? ;)
