Twitter on the TV

Tv died awhile back so it was time to get one of these new LCDs. Well I bought a Samsung 40LN750B. Still playing with all the settings. It is suppose to have 2ms response time and one of there highest contrasts. What I like is the possibility of the TV Widgets they will have in the future and improvements of the ones they have.
No computer is needed. Just an either net connection to your router. TV has an ARM processor built in. So far the one Widget I wanted, is still under development YouTube. The flicker one is nice, you can not search, like on the computer. But if you set up channels or something like it on the computer. Then you play them as a slide show on the TV. Nice is the word when you run a slide show.

I do not use Twitter, but they have added as a TV Widget. You can easily read the posts, as side bar and watch TV at the same time. They have been working on the YouTube one for about a year, and I here an Ebay one is in the works. You could go wireless, but that is another $40.00 add on. An either cable is probabaly faster as well as cheaper. Yes you can use the computer on the TV. In the set up you have match the computers resolution with the LCD, or get as close to it to have the mirroring window pop up. This is with a Mac with OSX. Will be trying the LCD on the OLD Apple IIgs and see how it goes.
