Bella burped and blushed simultaneously.
“Oh my…I can’t believe...I-I” she stuttered.
Jacob let loose one of his own that stunned her into silence.
….
“Now that was gross!” she squeeled fanning herself and unleashing a fit of giggles. “Oh that was foul! Jacob I think I can,” she blushed even deeper now, “I think I can smell what you ate!”
Jacob rubbed his belly with a gleeful grin.
“You are so pleased with yourself.”
“It’s a compliment to the cook!”
“Yeah, well keep your thanks.”
He took her hand and they listened silently to the rest of the holiday revelers inside.
