Bella wasn't sure she could handle anymore persistent questioning from Alice about everything from flower arrangements to silverware. So she finally gave up and told Alice that she had free range to choose the bride's maid's dresses. She was Bella's maid of honor after all.
But Bella regretted it after she sat in Alice's bedroom, with Rosalie by her side. Alice stepped out of her closet wearing a hideous, poofy, red dress covered in frilly lace and bows. But when Rosalie caught sight of the dress, the one that she'd have to wear 'cause she was a bride's maid too, she said with disgust, “There's no way I'm wearing that thing.”
Alice glared. “You'll wear it and you'll like it.”
“Over my pile of ashes,” Rosalie snapped.
