(no subject)
Woke up at around 8 when Ash was getting ready for work, so I sent dad a message telling him I was up early if he wanted to go and check out his new speakers guy earlier than the original 11am time we'd set. He said that was fine and to come over when I was ready, so I got dressed with Ash then drove us down Moonee Ponds way, leaving Ash at Essendon station then heading to my parents.
I brought the Wiggle Rocket with me and my xbox and a selection of games. Bay went nuts when he got there as he tends to do and Mia fired up all excited too. We loaded Mia into the car and then headed off to this speaker guys place, leaving Bay with my mum.
Got to the guys house pretty quickly as it was only in Taylors Lakes and there wasn't much traffic. The guy has 2 Berner's (1 of which related to our girls) so that's why we brought Mia. Only problem was the girl (Lexia) didn't like Mia being on her turf and kept growling at her, so it got to the point where it was easier to just leave her in the car than trying to seperate them all the time. We gave the speakers a test run on some Trivium and then on the movie Master & Commander, where we kicked the woofer right into the mix and I must say, it sounds absolutely magical. You can hear all the little things really well and it all zips around the rears nicely too. The woofer is great because it gives it all that huge kick that it should, but it doesn't overpower everything. Movie nights (hell even game time) at their house is going to be a lot of fun when that's all up and running.
After we'd finished up there, we went back to my parents and then I pretty much spent the afternoon playing GTA IV with mum and I can now finally say that I've finally shot all those bloody pigeons for the achievement. It's taken us about 6 months or so to do I think (Few month lay off in there though) but it's finally done!
I picked Ash up from the station from there and we went to the supermarket for some bits and pieces, went and got Bailey and then went to her parents house to have a bbq dinner with Andrew, Sheridan and Chris.
After dinner was finished we booted off home, so that I could get to bed for my early start the next day
