Was a pretty quiet day today. That cold I was getting yesterday has really kicked in.
I got woken up a little after 9 by the roller shutter man coming over to check out our shutters. The one in the lounge room had its cable tangled up in it, which is why it wasn't moving anywhere before. The battery was also dead in it, as it was in the other 3 apparently. I think it took him a little over an hour to fix all of them up and then he hit us with a bill for $590 to repair them. Considering I was quoted around $400, I wasn't impressed. Add to the fact that we just didn't have that much money on us. I got on the phone to mum and I was able to use their credit card to pay it off, but it was very annoying.
During that time dad come over and picked up the trolley so that he could move all their pot plants over to grandma's house for while they're living with us (Which is coming up very quickly too)
After the shutter man left I moved the blankets and pillows into the lounge room and set up base camp in there for the day and started working on some Mass Effect.
Grant came over around 12 and brought back my Sandman comics, which I think I might read again soon for something lighter and also brought some LSD around for me - the first lot I've had in quite a while. Being sick at the moment I will probably wait a month or so until i'm on days off before I use some of it.
We went down the street and got some lunch, then came back, ate and then started up some 'Spolsion Man co-op which was a bit of fun. After doing that for a bit Grant checked out the Batman demo and played some Worms for a bit while I fought back sleep. Grant then wanted to check out something on the computer so I played some Mass Effect for a bit. He headed off just before Steve got home from work. We put in Terminator to finish off our co-op game. We didn't get very far though as he got a call off Mick in relation to wrestling and he was on the phone with that until Megan came over and then Ash got home just after that.
Ash and I started making Tuna and Mac and then ate that while watching Models, which was pretty uneventful. Was the standard Covergirl commecrial shoot and one of the girls who should of gone home weeks ago finally did.
Hit the hay after that was finished
