We're alive
Hello All - we're still here.
Dutch's ashes came back from the vet about a week later and he and his paw print are now sitting on the mantle.
Trent is the cutest kid ever...even though he is going through mood swings that have me thinking he might be a teenage girl. "No" is his new favorite word. It's cute about 50% of the time. He has lots of stuffed animals that are room specific (thanks to us). If not we'd have a zoo everywhere. Now we've got a puppy downstairs, bear and monkey upstairs, different bear in Brandon's truck (see below) and a puppy, monkey and turtle in my car (not all at once though). He kisses and hugs them before we leave their area. Crazy cute.
We traded in our PT cruiser for a truck. Brandon has decided that many projects will get done now - at the expense of me having to be trapped in-doors with Trent all day.
Trent and I aren't indoor people, it makes us both a little crazy - but with tools in the garage or bushes full of wasps getting unrooted it's not so safe outside. Hopefully he'll be done by the weekend and we can spend some family time to get her.
Work is okay-ish. I don't think that Air National Guard people should have any authority but until people who get paid more than me start listening to me I'm stuck listening to people who have no clue how to lead. Shitty.
I finally talked to my boss about some stuff and I think he respects me for it. He admitted to having "shut down" the past couple months and only enforcing the rules when it was convenient. Hopefully he'll keep his act together.
