God,
I know You're up there looking down, keeping your eye on things today. Help me to remember that. Bless S on her field trip. Keep Your hand on her and keep her safe and let her come home today with wonderful stories of the animals she got to see. Let all my worry and concern be shown to be for naught.
I have less than 48 hours until I leave for the weekend. Help me get my house and myself together before I go. The washer's still not working. Please let the repairman come tomorrow at eight instead of five. Please let the washer be able to be fixed without him having to return in a week or two. Let me get my laundry and packing done in acceptable time.
Help me write this speech so that it sounds okay. I've never met this person and yet he wants me to write the words he will speak at this very public and important occasion. Let it work out so that everyone is pleased and satisfied with the results.
And God, thank You. My life is good. Far better than anything I deserve. I appreciate that. Hopefully you know how much.
