Today was Ms. Luzano's birthday. Now, my P/S&C class [Probability/Statistics&Calculus] decided we'd throw a little party for her during fifth period.
So during break, Lerissa and I shuffled into Ms. Santos's classroom to set up. We asked Steven to ask Ms. Franquez to lure Ms. Luzano out of her classroom. When Ms. Luzano passed the classroom we were in, we snuck out, and into her room.
That's when the rest of our classmates started filing in. I passed around the card that Manuel bought and broke out my fried rice, while Lerissa started setting up the cake she made.
The bell rang, and Ms. Luzano hadn't gotten there yet.
When we finally spotted her coming down the hallway, we didn't have enough time to light the candles. Faye, our lookout, didn't see Ms. Luzano coming down the hallway because Mr. Ochoco was blocking her. XD;
But yeah. :DDD The surprise went well, though I'm pretty sure Ms. Luzano knew what was going on.
When she blew out the 23 candles on her cake and we saw the smoke, we realized, "OH CRAP THE SMOKE ALARMS." So we all started fanning the air before the sprinklers and the alarms went off. :P
So yeah, we all ate the fried rice and the chips and the cake and caramel. XD;
Then we all settled down to watch some Demetri Martin. :P
Because we all look like normal people. Except Dan.
Except we're all supernerds in disguise.
It was awesome that none of us were absent. :D
I'm really glad I didn't actually lose my camera. XD;
When Kevin gave it back to me, I found that he'd used it to record himself and Jake playing basketball at Las Palmas. XD;
On another note, the month of May is looking to be very very busy. Not only is it the month of my 18th birthday, it's also my last month as a high school student, the month of my baccalaureate mass, and the month of my senior prom.
Just thinking about it makes me giddy.
...the prom, I mean. Not the whole end-of-high-school thing. Because thinking about the end makes me sad. I'm kinda trying not to think about it for now. >>;
So yeah. :DD OHS Senior Prom- May 23. It's the same night as SSHS Senior Prom. I'm just biding my time, waiting for Merl or someone to call me up and tell me whether or not they want to audition for SSHS's prom. If we end up playing, then I'd have to fit in two proms and one gig in one night. I really wouldn't mind, though, playing with my band again. It's been far too long.
:| One problem about prom, though. I need something else. ...a dress. D:
At the beginning of the year, when I was still on my sewing kick, I decided I'd make my dress.
But now, two months away, I've decided that I'm wayyyy too lazy.
Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some sleep to catch up on. :D
