three things are making me very happy right now:
1. Fernando scored the winning goal against Inter *smooches him*
2. my CLFF team scored 75 points in total this point (FTW KTHX)
3. dad came back from Hokkaido last night/this morning and brought back a heck lot of food - camembert cheese tarts, white milk cakes, corn chocolate (ASJDKLASJDKLSDJF), langue du chat and a XXXXXL-sized box of honeydew-flavoured chewy candy.
we bought the same corn chocolate when we went to Japan in 2006 so yes. :D although i have no idea what to do with the giant box of candy. @_@ they only come in tiny bars of 6 pieces here. ROTFL. he's hilarious like that. and i have a feeling i'll be stashing away the langue du chat (Ching! Vanderkelen gave us some in class once, remember?) and eating all of it by myself. XD wheee. now i have a very strong urge to visit Japan again - mostly cos TSD keeps going to places that i went to. (ha. i'm talking like i have monehhh.)
been having really frequent stomachaches this few days. :/ i wonder if it's due to stress? le General Adaptation Syndrome? urgh. and i can't stop sneezing either. :( it's been raining like crazy recently too. uhhh hello? weather gods? i thought the monsoon season was supposed to be ending. i swear it poured at least 4 times yesterday. i went to school twice and both times i got my feet+shoes soaked walking home from the mrt station. >:( i'm also living in my jacket atm.
pah. i'm tired. :( went to the airport at 11+ to pick dad. mom drove, of course. the number of dangerous cars on the road at that time of the night is scary. D; we waited for quite a while and dad's flight landed late, so by the time he got out it was past 1am, and we got home at 2am.
tonight i can briefly rest (to watch TSD and AMI7, heh) and then i'll have to gear up and rush out my bgs report for our group meeting tmr. :( i'm going back to school on a thursday for once this term (thursday's my free day). sigh. things are getting increasingly hectic and i'm not sure how long more i can keep this up before i collapse. :/ thank goodness polsci and as presentations are over already, though i still have term papers to write for... almost everything. -_- i don't even know what topic we've been assigned for our rmss group project yet. but luckily i have a pretty good group (Lix, Ruth and the ever-so-smart Cliffton) so i think we'll be fine.
right. i should stop distracting myself. back to Tim Dunne and Brian C. Schmidt's chapter on Realism. très exciting indeed. >_>
also, please go and dload Rodrigo y Gabriela's self-titled album from
losertunes. you will not regret. most awesome fast rhythmic classical guitar playing EVER. srsly. it has taken over The Evolution of Robin Thicke as my Music Album To Obsess Over.
