switcheroo

so... it's official, then.

congrats to Pool for signing Fernando, and congrats to Atleti for signing Luis.

i'll definitely miss seeing Luis play for Pool. i didn't even realise how much i liked him until he was sold. i think he was one of the first Spaniards i came to know about. well, hopefully Luis'll help Atleti get to the UEFA Cup at least. they have the Intertoto to play for soon. it's funny how i used to take note of Atleti matches for the sake of catching a glimpse of Fernando, but now that he's left i still feel a little something for them. Luis and Kun would be too cute on the pitch together. :)

i wonder how Fernando'll do in the EPL. on one hand i'm glad i'll get to see more of him and he'll have to learn English (so i can finally understand him), but on the other hand it's somehow difficult for me because he'll be playing for a rival team. i've never viewed Pool as an enemy to United but now they have Fernando i fear the EPL will be even more arduous than it already is. *sighs* Alison once asked me if i would switch to supporting Pool if they signed Fernando. my answer was, and still is, no. i most certainly do not detest Pool in any way, and i tend to support them when they're not playing against United. XD i guess it's the influence of my brother. he talks about Pool all day long and subconsciously i'm affected. but United will always be first in my heart. no other club brightens my day when i see them.
so i guess Xabi, Fernando and Pepe will now be BFFs (lolol), and so will Luis and Kun (and Pernia! XD). it's sad to see my Spaniards move about but if it's for their future, i wish them all the best.

Viva España!

he's five foot seven, he's football heaven
please don't take our Luis away.

[note: oh no. that means i'll have to remove all my Atleti!Fernando icons. *headdesks*]
