my left leg is aching again. *eyeroll* no one told me learning to drive a manual car would be this tiring. X_x i finally learnt vertical parking yesterday, hurray! :) it was surprisingly easy. i didn't knock down any poles at all! :D *throws confetti* i did reverse wrongly twice cos a. i forgot which pole to look at and b. i was daydreaming. XD i was tired, more like. i got the driving lesson time wrong! i arrived at 6.40pm happily thinking i was early for my lesson. i went to the board to check which car i was alloted and hey presto, my slot turned out to be the one at 8.40! *facepalms* yes, i am that stupid. i called mom to ask her what i should do and she couldn't come pick me so i was left to wander about Eunos on my own. unfortunately, Eunos is an industrial area. so unless i wanted to shop for factory space or new lorries, there was nothing to do. i decided to walk down the main road till i got... somewhere. was pretty okay and relaxing... till it started to get dark. then it got real freaky. i wandered into the HDB shops area but there were only shady characters lurking about. i was actually pretty scared. i went to Shop N Save to see if i could get a magazine but there was nothing for me. so i walked on somemore and discovered loads and loads of foreign workers hanging about. and they were eyeing me as i walked by. my word. my heart was beating like crazy. then i saw lightning flashing in the distance and i decided that i'd better return to the driving centre and hide there instead. so i quickly bought a copy of The New Paper and hurried back, praying i wouldn't be struck by lightning. X_x sigh.
i watched AMI6's finale when i got home. omg Blake's performance with Doug E. Fresh was so cool! His beatboxing is so awesome. i was like bouncing on the couch with my arms in the air. XDDD i'm not as impressed with this year's finale though. sure, they got 4/5 of the past winners to come back, and they all sound great, but they didn't focus on THIS season's contestants, which was kinda like the whole point in the first place? last year's was really really good. every single contestant had a fair share of screentime. i shrieked when Green Day appeared, lol. Billy Joe Armstrong sounds amazing live. exactly the same as the studio recording. now that's what i call a good voice. (he's really hot, too. XD) Bette Midler was cute. :) and somehow, Tony Benett made me cry when he sang. he's defintely old enough to be my grandfather, but his voice is still so strong and powerful. it was that moving. Sanjaya was cool too! haha. when he stood in the middle of the stage with the wind blowing, for that instant i was like *swooooooooooon*. XD he was quite hot like that. :P the opening song where Blake sang with Jordin was really kute. i liked it. however, i would have liked it better if i was Jordin. then i'd get to hold his hand and kiss him. bleargh. ;) oh well. i guess Jordin deserves to win. she fits the "Idol" mould better. Blake's a little too unconventional to be accepted as widely as she will be. however, i think the show was a great platform for Blake to showcase his music and i think that's all he needs, really. he can make it on his own from now on. :) plus, you don't need to win the show to become big. look at Clay, Bo and Katharine. see? :) i do hope Melinda gets a record deal though. she has potential to become a legend. <3
just realised that my uncle's wedding is tmr. i should be all "yaye!", right? but no. it's cos my grandmother told my grandaunt that only the adults would be attending the wedding. she decided that the grandchildren should not get to go. apparently it's because my granduncle & family couldn't attend my 5th uncle's wedding (which took place like, 10 years ago?!) as they had prior commitments. i mean, sheesh?! why bear this sort of grudge? even if you want to, leave the rest of us out of it! the uncle getting married is like the 2nd last one in the family already. weddings are supposed to be joyous occasions and such things should be shared. i'm still peeved about it. now i have to sit at home with my smelly brother and i have to find a way to fill his stomach. hmmph. fine. i'll sit at home and watch Miss USA 2007 instead. *sulks* never mind. i'll have another wedding to attend next year anyway. my cousin's registering her marriaged in july and she'll hold the proper ceremony and stuff next year, so yaye. i just realised her fiancee supports AC Milan though. *prods him to death*
gosh i'm bored. i've got like, 4 files to handle. what a terribly heavy workload. /sarcastic
nyargh. i just wanna sit at home and vegetate in front of the telly. XD took extremely random photos and i shall try to upload them tonight, if i can finish photoshopping

had the most random conversation with Dawn and Chello yesterday involving Newton being Asian (so instead of an apple dropping it would be a durian/jackfruit/papaya and he would be dead/concussed so we wouldn't have such a hard time studying physics) and various retarded topics which i can't remember now. X_x something involving me juggling durians. which led to the whole Newton thing. dude i am losing my memory. *headdesks* oh yes. it was a very long discussion about Newton being a Malaysian kampong boy and wandering around the durian plantation at 2am (cos that's when durians fall) in his white tshirt and sarong and such. lol. /random
i have nothing on tmr! i need to go shop for farewell presents. does anyone want to come witih me! *pleads* LAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! lol. i wonder where Phway is working tmr.
