Not much.

We managed to keep the weekend relatively free (which was something we needed to do after recent events), however we were roped into a family trip for the Oakham firework display, which was nice, and had free barbeque and beer.

Elizabeth didn't cry at the big bangs, but did stare intently at the pretty lights, she seems fascinated by light of any sort really, and there were plenty of people cooing over her as well.

The unfortunate thing was that while we were waiting for washing to finish at Vicky's parent's house we ended up only getting to bed gone midnight. I'd put both the tumble driers on to sort the clothing out but I had to turn them off after twenty minutes because Pippin was getting very distressed by all the noise they were making and they were also kicking out a lot of heat.

Vicky and I spent much of the weekend playing on Resident Evil (Codename: Veronica X, don't ask me why that's the codename, we're obviously not far enough into the game for that to be explained). Taking it in turns looking after Elizabeth and swearing at zombies, or at one point, Vicky breastfeeding while swearing at zombies.

Elizabeth has been a bit gripy recenlty, but considering she's got a full on cold at the moment she's actually been very good about it, poor little thing is having trouble breathing and you can hear it on her chest, but she's been taking her medicine and we've only had one night where she didn't sleep through.

She's also had conjunctivitis recently, went to the docs today and they said we'd done the right thing and it had cleared up, so she doesn't need any antibiotics which is a great relief.

So nothing particularly exciting, which is nice for a change.
