Summary: Ryo and Tatsuya have been best friends since they were young but unknown to Tatsuya, Ryo is in
love with him. One day, something happened which made Ryo wish that he and Tatsuya were never friends and
that he has all grown up. What happens when he wakes up one morning, all grown up without Tatsuya by his
side?

A/N#1: This chappie is a flashback. :)
Yamapi left Tatsuya to go to the agancy for their meeting. He called their manager and told him Tatsuya won't make it today because he wasn't feeling well.
Before Yamapi left, he made sure that Tatsuya has calmed down and he has something to eat. He promised to be back after their meeting.
When Yamapi was gone, Tatsuya went to his closet and took out a box, the box that Yamapi told him to throw away a million times. He took the box to his bedroom and he sat on his bed. Carefully he opened it.
The box contains all the things that reminded him of the old Ryo. He took out a necklace with a globe pendant. It was the necklace he was supposed to give Ryo during his birthday but because of what happened during that day, he wasn't able to do so.
He held the necklace in his hand and remembered everything that happened after his birthday.

Tatsuya went to school alone. He waited for Ryo to pick him up but the other didn't come. He left the house and walked to school.
When he arrived everyone in the classroom was silent. News about their fight yesterday broke out and everyone in the room stared as he entered. He went to his seat and noticed that it was Junno who was sitting at Ryo's seat. Junno smiled at him and greeted him. He looked around the classroom and found Ryo sitting beside Nakamaru and Koki at the back. He looked different.He stared at Ryo and their eyes met. Ryo was furrowing at him. Tatsuya felt hatred with Ryo's gaze. Their stares was broken when their teacher came.
When classes were over, Tatsuya went over to Ryo to talk to him. When Ryo saw him approaching, the other started to furrow.
"Ryo, we need to talk." Tatsuya said
"I don't want to. From now on, I don't want anything to do with you!" Ryo said.
"Ryo...come one. Let's talk, you don't understand--"
"I don't understand? You're the one who doesn't understand anything! I'm tired of making you understand. I don't need you anymore!" Ryo said.
"Ryo..."
"We are not friends so you have no right to call me that." Ryo said then he walked out of the room.
After that conversation, Tatsuya and Ryo never spoke to each other. Most of their interactions consist of glares and curses. Tatsuya hated Ryo because of his stubbornness. He never attempted to make peace again with Ryo because he knows that Ryo has already changed and erased him in his life.
It was their school's annual festival and as part of the activity, a track and field relay was held. Ryo,Tatsuya,Yamapi,Kame and Jin were included in the lineup. They were against the students of the other section. Tatsuya was the first runner followed by Yamapi, Kame, Jin and the last one is Ryo. They started out fine. Tatsuya was leading the race and passed the baton to Yamapi. Their team was on the lead and everyone from their class was cheering them on. When Jin passed aton to Ryo, they were all sure that they are the winners. They cheered and cheered but unfortunately, Ryo tripped. When he landed on the field, he held his ankle and cried in pain. He sprained it. Following his instincts, Tatsuya ran over to him and checked what was wrong.
"Ryo, are you okay?” He asked as he kneeled beside Ryo.
Ryo just cried out because of the pain. The rest of the class rushed into the field.
"Ryo, can you walk?" Tatsuya asked
"Leave me alone!" Ryo said.
"I won't! You're hurt. Here, let me help you get up."
Tatsuya grabbed Ryo's arm and helped him get up. Ryo was able to stand. When Tatsuya was about to put support him, Ryo pushed him away. Tatsuya fell on the field while Ryo tried his best not to fall down again.
"I told you to leave me alone donkey face!" Ryo said as he glared at Tatsuya who was trying to get up.
Out of nowhere, a fist landed on Ryo's face. He fell on the field again holding his cheek while the one who punched him was restrained by their classmates.
"You were the one who was offered help and you still managed to insult him." Yamapi shouted at Ryo.
"Ha! Who are you to shout at me? I can do whatever I want!"
"You're such a jerk you know that?" Yamapi said
"Really? What do you call yourself? You were the one who talked behind his back and now you're acting like you care for him!" Ryo told Yamapi
The other wasn't able to respond to what Ryo said because he was right. He talked behind Tatsuya's back and insulted him before.
"What's the matter Yamashita? Did I hit the spot? Did---"
"Enough, Nishikido!" Tatsuya interrupted him.
Ryo looked at him. This was the first time Tatsuya called him by his last name
"Enough. You want me out of your life? Fine. I'm out. I'm throwing you out of my life too. You don't need me? I don't need you too. I will leave you alone. Let's pretend that we never knew each other. Just think that I never existed on your life and I would do the same." Tatsuya said
"Tsk...I'm glad you said that. I already threw you out of my life for a long time. It's time you do the same thing." Ryo said.
Tatsuya turned his back to Ryo and made his way to their room while Ryo was brought to the clinic by
Nakamaru and Ueda.
Yamapi followed Tatsuya to their room and behind him was Jin and Kame. They watched as Tatsuya packed his bags. His face looked like he was about to cry.
"Tatsuya are you okay?" Kame asked not able to control him.
"I'm fine." Tatsuya said as he continued packing.
"Tatsuya, I'm sorry." Yamapi said
Tatsuya paused and looked at him.
"For what?"
"For what I have done. Nishikido was right; I insulted you behind your back. I was the one who started the fight during your birthday."
Tatsuya just kept staring at him.
"I insulted you during your party and he heard it that's why we had a fight." Yamapi said.
Yamapi waited for Tatsuya to say something.
"Tatsuya, do you understand what I'm saying?"
Tatsuya nodded.
"I know what you did." He said
"You know? Then why did you fight with Nishikido?" Yamapi asked
"I was in denial at that time. I can't believe someone I admire and respect can do that to me so I didn't believe him." Tatsuya said.
It was now Yamapi who was speechless
"I only realized he was right a few days after but it was too late. He hates me so much that I can't even have a decent conversation with him." Tatsuya said
Yamapi was in shock when he heard this.
"You're not mad at me?" He asked Tatsuya
"No. I'm not mad." Tatsuya lied
He pulled his bag and was ready to leave when something dropped on the floor.
Jin picked it out and looked at it. It was a necklace with a globe pendant.
"Tatsuya is this yours?" Jin asked as he showed Tatsuya the necklace.
Tatsuya saw the necklace on Jin's hand and immediately grabbed it from the other. Tears were about to fall from his eyes so he turned away to leave.
"Tatsuya, you know you can tell us what's wrong." Kame said.
Tatsuya stopped on his tacks and held the necklace tightly. He started to sob. He turned back to them again and he looked at Yamapi.
"You know what, I'm not okay and I was lying when I told you I'm not mad at you. I am really angry at you! I hate you for ruining everything!" Tatsuya told Yamapi before he broke down.
Yamapi, Kame and Jin just watched as Tatsuya cried.
"You took Ryo away from me! You're the reason why he changed! You're the reason why I wasn't able to give this to him!" Tatsuya threw the necklace at Yamapi who caught it with his hands.
He looked at the pendant closely and noticed there was something written on it.
*You are the reason my heart keeps on beating... I Love You, Ryo.*
Tatsuya cried as Yamapi read the words engraved on the glove.
"I hate you!" Tatsuya kept on saying.
Yamapi went over to Tatsuya and gave him the necklace.
"Tatsuya, I'm really really sorry. I didn't mean to do that. I didn't know. Please...forgive me."Yamapi said.
He felt guilty. He regretted the day he insulted Tatsuya and fought with Ryo. If only he knew the truth. He can't believe he did something like this.
"I'll fix this Tatsuya. Please. Forgive me." Yamapi said
Tatsuya shook his head
"You can't do anything about it. He would never take me back. You heard him, he already threw me out of his life." Tatsuya said.
Tatsuya cied as he said those words. Yamapi wasn;t able to control himslef. He pulled Tatsuya closer to him and hugged him tightly.
"I'm very sorry Tatsuya. If only I knew. I'm really sorry. Forgive me."
Tatsuya cried harder when Yamapi hugged him and said those words to him
"I promise that I will always be by your side from now on. I'll make sure everything is alright around you. I'll protect you, Tatsuya. I'll make sure no one else would hurt you the same way I hurted you. I promise to protect you." Yamapi said
After that day, Tatsuya stayed close with Yamapi, Jin and Kame. Yamapi would always look after him and cared for him. It was like having a new Ryo with him. Yamapi did what Ryo used to do and he was happy but it was still different. Yamapi is a great friend but Ryo is still the one he loved.

Ryo lay on his bed and was still thinking of Tatsuya when he heard the door open.
"Nakamaru? Koki? is that you?" He called.
The two left him to buy some medicines.
"Baby? Are you okay?" A girl sat beside him on the bed and placed her hand on his forehead.
"What are you doing here? This is my house!" Ryo told the girl
"Ryo, this is my house too. We both live here and this is our room." The girl said.
Ryo just lay in the bed and stared at the girl.
"Baby, tell me what's wrong." The girl said
"I--I don't remember anything.I don't remember you." Ryo said.
"Hmmmm... I'll make you remember, ok?" The girl said.
She leaned closer to Ryo and let their lips touch then she pulled back.
"You are Nishikido Ryo. A famous song writer."
She leaned to kiss him again.
"I am Ueto Aya. The number one model in Japan."
She kissed him again this time with more passion. Ryo tried to let every word sink in to him.
"We are called the perfect couple and our wedding is going to be the dubbed as the wedding of the year."
Aya said
Hearing those words, Ryo became more confused.

Tatsuya quickly placed his box in the closet then ran out of the room to answer the door. As expected, it
was Yamapi who was at the door.
"Tatsuya!" Yamapi said when he opened the door.
"Pi, how was the meeting?" Tatsuaya asked
Yamapi let himself in and sat on the couch.
"Not good." Yamapi said.
"What do you mean?"
"Tatsuya, I tried to argue with them but they wouldn't listen." Yamapi said
"Pi. just tell me what happened in the meeting." Tatsuya said
Yamapi gave a deep breath
"Tatsuya, the agency asked Nishikido to write our new song." Yamapi said.
