more or less an update
this is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time..
i'm gonna be 20 soon... *cough* december 26 *cough*
time is going too fast and i can't keep up. this whole working nights thing sucks. i feel like i can't get anything done, so i've been working on waking up early and now i can't sleep more than 5 hours and that's no good. i've got about 87% of my christmas shopping done. i've spent a lot of money.. but it doesn't matter, i'm workin to make up for it. i am trying to get a job working loss prevention at the mall. it's undercover security and i arrest shoplifters. i get to wear street clothes. they're not hiring at the time, but maybe soon. not all the stores have it, mostly the big stores like penny's and sears and whatnot. oh and meier & frank which is where i've applied so far. i just need a day job. but a car first.
(secretly i know) larry changed the schedule for tonight's shift, but i'm pretending i don't know. i was supposed to work about 5-10 minutes away at an RV place for 6 hours. he changed it to where i'm at a movie theatre, but one that's about 45 minutes away for 3.5
hours. this is why i'm ignoring it:
A.) i'd work 3.5 hours and make.. 30 bucks (without taxes)
B.) 45 minutes away, so i'd (obviously) pay oregon taxes, so about 23 bucks (maybe)
C.) then i'd have to pay for gas. gas would be about.. 10 bucks
so i'm not driving 45 minutes away for an estimated 13 bucks. i'm also not driving to the office to check the schedule on my night off to see if it's changed. so he can't blame me. dickhead. he really needs to learn how to run a company better. david and i are 2 of the oldest employees working there, and he's barely been there a year, and i've been there 8 months including my summer break. there's only a handful (5 or 6?) of people that have barely been there longer. that's pathetic. more people come and go from there than a brothel.
worst case scenarios:
a) i get suspended for the weekend (hopefully) and then get to go play soccer with friends
b) i get suspended after the weekend (hopefully not) because there aren't enough peopele
to cover shift because people keep quitting. then i'd work the weekend and not get to play soccer with friends
c) i get fired; HIGHLY DOUBTFUL (but still possible) due to the fact that:
1. i've worked there a long time
2. they need people
d) there are other possibilities but these are the ones i think are most probable with the people in charge
but whatever i really don't care cause i'm getting sick of them again. and i'd quit (again) before i was fired.
david is quitting there too. we're both now sick of larry. (most) everyone else is really cool. some people are too
into the fake cop thing and pretend to be too badass for their own good. like the REALLY dorky guy with quarter inch
thick glasses, about 5'4" and looks like he has a somewhat vitamin deficiency. the company pretty much spiralled
down (greatly i might add) after jim (awesome guy) quit cause larry sucked. not to mention jim was the reason the
company was around in the first place, he's the one that established the company and got all the clients. so larry is
slowly (yet quickly) losing a company that was once decent. *round of applause*
