It's a little odd that Saddam is dead.

As far back as my political awareness goes, I can remember people being afraid of him, and thus, I also feared him.

A day or two ago, i read in the newspaper that his trial may be postponed for weeks, but today when I got to work the headline was "HANGED", and "SADDAM DEAD".

Seems kind of sudden, but then again, I've been out of touch.

Very strange, the deaths that affect you. I'm not sad he's dead, not at all, but it was weird to realize that there was a small bit of lingering fear from back when I was a kid, and that it's gone now.

PS: Today at work, Sarah McLachlan came in. My manager got super excited, and ran outside to see her. It was silly.

PPS: I finally learned to knit, and have nearly completed my first scarf, which is avacado green. Woo!
