I just stumbled upon this comm in a desperate hunt for a Torchwood beta reader. I'm the author of a very long Torchwood WIP titled 'Blocking your own shot'. It's an adult rated S1 fic set after cyberwoman. Parts 1-11 totaling more than 50,000 words are At my writing journal. Pairings include Ianto/OFC, Ianto/Jack, mentions of past Ianto/Lisa.
Mostly I'm looking for someone I can send possible chapters to when I need help deciding where the correct cut off should be, or to make sure that I haven't left important plot lines dangling. At this point spelling and grammar are just a bonus, but there have been requests for a PDF file once the work is complete, so I would want a full check for that before it was done. I turn anywhere from 1-2 chapters a week, each tending to be between 3-7k on word count and I'm in the final third of the work, so I don't anticipate the piece topping 100k.
I know this is a pretty lengthy fic that's only getting bigger, but if it seems like something you would be interested in working with, I'd be thrilled to hear from you either in a reply or a direct message to Negvse1 on AIM or LeeAnnFloyd @ gmail.com. I have sent this out to a couple other betas in anticipation of a lot of 'no' but will contact everyone back if I find someone.
