Okay, I'm lagging on the updates. I know this. BUT - there's a good reason!
Well ... maybe not. I've been busy, mmmkay?
I can't believe March is halfway gone ... it's crazy. Last thing I remember, it was barely Valentine's day. What the hell??? Anyway, there's a new girl in the house, and her name is Taylor. She's a Boxer mixed with either a Beagle or Pit-Bull - or even maybe BOTH! She's a sweet pea, not a mean bone in her body. She's getting huge - over 31 pounds already at only 19 weeks. CRAZY! Rufus and Bandit are adjusting rather well - neither really *like* her, but they put up with most of her antics. Even when she bites Rufus' ears. Sometimes. Other times, she gets bit. But you know. What can ya do?
Not too much else going on - just the usual. Work, school, and all the other stuff that leaves my "spare" time virtually absent from my life. But ya know what? I find that when I have time on my hands (like today, my classes were cancelled), I have so much stuff I *could* being doing, that I just ignore ALL of it. If I don't think about it, it doesn't exist! It's a great plan until everything's past due, isn't it? I have bills, taxes, school forms, phone calls, and emails to catch up on ... and what am I doing? Catching up on my soaps. LOVE IT!
I've finally arrived at the political conclusion that I'm an Independent! Mostly, that means I would like to be "indepedent" from the Democratic AND Republican political hypocrisy. If I had it my way, I'd scrap 'em all and start over! Seriously, after listening to conservative and liberal talk shows on the radio, I just wanted to bang my head against a brick wall. Everyone is SO worried about their own agendas, they can't get ANYTHING accomplished, even if they have the same end-goal! RIDICULOUS!
Oh well, that's all I've got for today. I'll try to attach pics of the Tater Tot at some point, if I can figure it out!
