I feel so much better now. I think I'm over my flu. I woke up this morning feeling really good. Yesterday I woke up with a 101.8 fever. By the end of the day, I had no fever, but amazingly bad allergies. I'm not sure where they came from either. I couldn't stop sneezing, my eyes were so red and wouldn't stop watering, and my nose was gross too. The last two days really sucked. The only thing that sucks now is that I have to go to work.
I was supposed to go out to this new salon by the Rivertown Mall and try to get a job on Monday. Unfortunately I got sick and couldn't go. Now I have to go tomorrow. I have no idea what kind of salon this is. My mom's person that she's seeing has a friend who happened to see that they had a 'Now Hiring" sign on the window and told him where the salon is. She was also telling me about this salon that this guy's other friend owns or manages that's up in Traverse City. My mom didn't know if I'd be interested in it, but if I were to take the job up there, I'd have to get an apartment up there. I'd hopefully be able to work out a schedule so I could come back down for a couple days a week. But that would just suck. I'd be away from all my friends all week and then still have to come back and maybe not even be able to see them for long or at all because I'd still plan on working at Blythefield. So that's definately not happening, not to mention that I really can't afford to get an apartment. Spencer told me that he has a friend whose mom manages a Borics. They're not really what I want to work at. I really want a place where I can use everything that I've learned. I want to be able to cut hair, but work with color, and do perms. I want to be able to do a lot of stuff so that I can be an all-around person and be good at it all. Borics is one of those places that's pretty much just hair cutting. But right now, I need a job, so I'm pretty much willing to work at almost any salon.
Time to get ready for work. Hope everyone has a good day.
