I hardly ever do rec posts, b/c I hardly ever read Yuletide fics in such a way that make them feasible. Sure I'll go through the whole collection...by June. I haven't finished reading my Yuletide stories (I got 3!!!!) but so far it's been awesome. Someone(s) wrote Ile-Rien and Mansfield Park for me and they are both wonderful. I can already see it's going to be a fab week of reading :D

Hurricane Sandy has inspired me to update my fanfiction index page. Boy was it in need... I don't know how helpful the index is to people. I know I've found sites that have a main index helpful, and sites that use extensive tagging helpful. I'm trying to do both. If you have an opinion one way or another, feel free to share. :)

I'm done! I'm done I'm done I'm done I'm done! rarepairfest fic is posted, all set to be revealed on Sept 1st. I do hope my person likes it. It's both longer and more meandering than originally intended.

I might write me some more twistedshorts fic to celebrate. Tomorrow. Now I need to get ready for work.

I had a great creative burst during lunch after freaking out during a bathroom break. I just might get this rare pairs fic done & [self-] betaed by tomorrow, which was my goal!

I am so tired it hurts, and yet I still managed to miss the tthshorts deadline by a minute. I'd find this funnier or more toxic if I hadn't literally keeled over & fallen asleep several times. Maybe it's time to give Gotham, and me, a wee break...

So I've been participating in twistedshorts' August fic-a-day fic-a-thon, which I've wanted to do for a few years. Like nano it's full of sleepless joy that manages, unlike nano, to be relatively low stress.
