The return to the real life ...
So, I had planned to shift through my work e-mail today so I can hit the ground running on Monday. But fuck that shit. So here I am, melting in the 30something degree heat today, cleaning the spare room in preparation for my relos who are coming soon, and wasting time until the inevitable return to work tomorrow. Le Sigh ...
So in case you don't follow twitter, or facebook, or any of my friends twitter or facebook, I am now back from Japan. Back from the world of over politeness and foreign speaking ness to the land of rude english speaking white people. When we landed in Japan we asked "have you arrived in Japan yet?" I now think that we are back, the question to ask is "are you back from Japan yet?"
In terms of story telling and blogging, I will probably get around to blogging about it soon. I'd like to get some thoughts down on paper anyway so I know what to do (and what not to do) next time. But I digress
Japan in general was a good trip. We covered a great deal of the country and seen more of Japan that a lot of Japanese people have. You find that a lot of pre-conceived notions are true, and some which are not. But in general, Japan is a very tourist friendly country.
Now back to the real world ...
