Reading your application made me immediately think of The Swan. Again, the slow tempo, and quietness to the music makes me think of your quietness, and your peacefulness. (Quiet, most of the time. I can get loud around my friends, but around most other people I'm quiet. and Compared to other people, I think my life is pretty peaceful. That and I'm pretty calm, so I tend to freak out less about things, thus leading to less conflict in general.)
The really delicate piano in the song gives it a romantic, dreamy quality which makes me think of where you stated that you liked to immerse yourself in artistic hobbies, as well as the notion that others regard you as "romantic."
Also, the very delicate piano mixed in with the melancholy string sound (it sounds like a viola to me, but I could be wrong) makes me think of this: Idealist, with shades of realism mixed in. When thinking about people though, I tend to think with my heart. This song also reminds me of solitude, and I think it's partly because of the sparcity of the instruments, but

You seem really kind and peaceful. You listen to people's mistakes and would make an excellent therapist. You're faithful and yet, due to your out-of-state student status you would probably seem quite mysterious to most other students. So um.... Aquarium would fit you best... XD or at least i think so.
However The Swan would also fit you because of your "That I'm too much of a romantic".... XD yeah~
Actually, I really don't think it's The Swan because that song has always had a tone of fatality and melancholy for it, even as it was peaceful and accepting (a kind of accept-your-fate happiness?) that I really think isn't like you that much. It seems like a pessimist song to me, even if it is happy and satisfied.
I was actually thinking of Waltz of the Flowers, because of your quiet but ultimately hopeful and the fact that you care about other's troubles. (Thus, you hear conflict in Waltz, but it's something full of concern and sincerity).
Those same qualities, plus the feeling of gentle loneliness and affection would make me add The Last Farewell. Despite the name and the context, I feel that the song itself has much warmth and love to it, even as it has yearning to it. It's very much a think-with-your-heart song, and in a way, it sounds very idealistic and optimistic, even as it's reserved and even a little sorrowful.
I'd have to go with The Last Farewell. I find a lot of hope and affection in the song mixed with a bit of longing and sadness, which reminds me a lot of the way you talk about missing home and your friends there while still enjoying the company of your friends at school and your positive outlook.

That I'm too much of a romantic, and that I'm foolish for thinking most people are inherently good.
I'm a little lonely, but I'm okay. I have friends who mean a lot to me, just not as many as back home.
When I was listening to it, it really matched up to lines like these.
