So far, so good.

I must have looked like a crazy girl scooping sand up into a big Christmas bag today at the beach but I’m glad I did.

I sifted and carefully dumped the sand into the  cage and separated the sand section from the hay section with rocks (exhibit A). It looks surprisingly good and the sand babies seem to love it.

Went down to Okeechobee (sp?) today because I spoke to a guy from Petsmart that claimed to have Rex and Blue rats.

They did, but they were all hideous.

But I immediately fell in love with this Mongolian Gerbil that looks nothing like a Gerbil, and more like a Prairie dog.
