last few days
Hi all, just thought I'd write an update on Flora and the last few days while I'm sitting here waiting for mountain men to come on.
Flora does as I suspected have a double ear infection. We are treating it with 3 different meds hoping that by treating it aggressively we can get it to go away. I'm using the drops from beforewhich are antifungal drops. I'm using an ear cleaning solution because the vet felt that what I was using witch hazel wipes isn't working. This ear solution has to be poured in to her ear until it can be seen and massaged in. Someone is going to help me with that. It needs to be done twice a week so Danielle or my parents can help me. And lastly an antibiotic anointment. I was having trouble with the little tube either getting to much or not enough according to my mom, so the vet is going to put each dose in a syringe and I'll do it that way.
Flora clearly didn't feel well in the days leading up to and the day after the vet trip, but seems fine today. We got in a couple walks on the island where I stayed until late Wednesday.
Two were working walks and 1 was a play walk. Tuesday we bathed Flora, went for a walk and went to visit with an FB friend who I've known since grade school. I did a podcast with him but its not up yet.
the next day I helped mom prepare potato and fruit salad. We watched the parade as always. I've made a podcast with a bit of the history and geography of the island, the parade and fireworks mom recorded late that night. The parade is cute is families and children and dogs LOL link is 00:44:32.89444I went home at around 5. today I've done nothing but sleep on and off and edit the podcast allergies are acting up again.
I thought I had more to say, but I guess not well, I now have about 40 minutes till my show.
