feeling good feelings
yesterday (saturday) my dad and i went to bring ET to his new home.
i was a mess...like any mother would be.
the rescue center is in christmas, fl... and yes there are santas everywhere, but no, there are actually no christmas lights (past christmas) on anyone's home.
it was perfect. and i can visit because the person who runs it, shirley, doesn't adopt out any exotic pets...this really made me happy because i can see ET when i am going to and from school...whew!
ET of course forgot about me as soon as she saw the food bowl for the tortoises, which was filled with her obession, strawberries.
BTW i thought she was a he but apparently he is a she. identity crisis.
there is also another femal tortoise of the same size and a really big male.
the coolest part was that i got to play with two KANGAROOS! i almost died! i have never seen a kangaroo in real life, not even at the zoo!
it was so wild because i was walking and then out of nowhere one of the roos just went hopping by....crazyness ran through my head.
they are really bizarre and adorable when the hop.
the center had a whole bunch of other animals with crazy and some sad pasts. they were all so sweet.
shirley was really thankful for all of the donations i gave! i felt really relieved that everything was going to be OKAY.
after, we went over to the kennedy space center area and we drove down this long and quiet road over the intercostal...
i saw nearly 30 dolphins about 50 yards from the road! i was thrilled....
i love it when i see things when i'm not looking.
