Pablo, a fragment

"Well, now,
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.

If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you."

I may be slow but at least not completely stupid. I get the message, friend. Don't worry. I shall no longer bother you for anything anymore. And I shall give you back your book next lesson. I never finished reading it but M says she'll get me a copy so thanks anyway.

ANYWAY. The wife and I were going through the Game weekly catalogue of specials. We saw a 40" Samsung full HD LCD flatscreen advertised. We looked at each other and said at the same time, "Halfies?"

Grin.

And again, together, "Let's go!" I kid you not. Sometimes, the wife and I are eerily connected. Or have just spent too much time in the company of the other and we are fast becoming two halves of the same person-- the "lesbian urge to merge". LOL.

And of course we end up buying the LED, which was infinitely more expensive. But hey, why do we work so hard right?

I can't wait to watch LOTR on blu-ray on this baby. The extended versions, obviously, all the better to perve on Legolas. Sometimes I suspect I might be a durty bisexual. Although, elves are deliciously androgynous (in JRR's world anyway) and I think they sleep with both sexes (in my world anyway LOL)...

I am in PS3 hog heaven too. This is how the PS3 was meant to be played. Be still my geeky heart.

This is one of the reasons why Thursdays are my favourite days... the best impulsive buys are made on Thursdays (well not really but it seems like a good excuse).

I had coffee with C and B today. Among other things, wee talked about Eddie, a coffee buddy who died suddenly last night. Strange. Two weeks ago we had coffee. Earlier today, I sat on the same table and stared at his vacant chair and was just really sad. I got guilty over the times when I'd space out after he'd gone on so long about something... he always gave such good hugs when I saw him. Plus he loved to laugh and always had a silly comment or two for my silly fb status updates. At least he got to see his native Italy one last time this year in October, after 20 years if I remember correctly.

I'd also had to contend with some difficult times over the holiday season, ie being thrust into company I loathe because I didn't have a choice. My wife's family, long story.

I shall buy Pride and Prejudice on blu ray to make myself feel better. Mr Darcy coming out of the pond, dripping wet. Someone restrain me.
