Time is a flyin'
Oh gosh, it's been a tad longer than I thought since I've posted. I'm looking forward to a little more "spare" time (yeah right, spare isn't the right word, but not as much to do) after the first of June. We have had company all week, they'll be here until Saturday. And then Rick & Vicki will be her Tuesday through friday. Then, things will settle down. Allyssa's last day of school is wednesday. Been planning things for that. Plus getting all the end of the year gifts for teachers together. It's really a lot of work.
I'm planning Todd's Star Wars party & also getting ideas for Allyssa's Paris theamed party. I think I've decided on a gift for teachers for Christmas & the neighbors. I like to start in the summer with those actually as well, you know, my time seems to get used up rather quickly. I'm also wanting to host a children's halloween party this year, but need to see what gets done this summer as Todd's birthday is Nov. 11th and I may just burn out completely if I have to over the top bashes within 3 weeks of each other. We'll see.
My sister keeps having contractions, Angel, she's the one having twins. She keeps getting shots to stop the labor but has been put on complete bedrest. NOt even sitting up. Lyinmg flat unless she's eating. THat would drive me insane.
I will depart to go frost cupcakes for Allyssa to take. Tomorrow is the last friday of the year. (we've sent goodies every friday this year) Today I made choclate seashells and chocolate cupcakes. I'm frosting them with vanilla and coating that with graham cracker crumbs and sticking a chocolate sea shell on top. We thought it would be cute. I'll take a picture :o)
