Well, I'm sure some of you already know what my surprise for
Mel was. I just thought that would be a nice thing to do and I'm glad it makes her happy.
I really can't explain the look on her face when I bought her that bike, but I'm glad I put it there.
Kia came with us to pick it out (since she's the expert.) We found Mel a smaller bike, one good to train on. I think it suits her. She's gonna be a mighty fine lady on that machine.
And I know Mel's thinking it's too much, but I want to make sure that if she's gonna ride that she has a good bike. I didn't want her spending her hard earned money on a used one when here I am with millions that I don't know what to do with. No more taking the bus for her. Now she can go to school in style so to speak.
This weekend she'll learn how to ride it when it gets delivered. I'm glad she wants to take training lessons as well, I just want her to be safe.
Saturday I've been invited over for dinner with Mel's parents. Should be interesting. Well, whatever happens, there's no use in worrying about it now.
And Mel, if you'd like to go out Friday night let me know. Maybe we can catch dinner and a movie and do something afterwards as well.
