I wonder if it's too much to ask to build palaces and castles out of cheese. Or build them out of stone and then cover every inch of it with pillows.

Seeing that I don't think G-g will like going from King Gil-galad, the last whose realm was fair and free or some shit to the Cheese King of Middle Earth, it's time to babyproof Lindon in preparation ( Read more... )

Definitely. When Elanor comes in and asks if we've been robbed... no. This is babyproofing. And we need one of those things in front of the fireplaces, you know what I'm talking about, the cage thingie so the baby doesn't crawl into the fireplace, Eruforbid.

Yep, that sounds like your father. He angst for an entire week in his room when he found out he had to go to battle with your grandfather. "Fiiiighting? But that's soooo barbaric! I don't waaaant to go! I want to stay here and read my books!" What a beating he got. And then he went off to battle and LOVED IT. What a fuckin' mistake. Gah.
