Terminator 2 last night with Fi was good times. Go Linda Hamilton as the hottest awesomest woman alive (albeit fucked up. And fictitious). Woke up kind of depressed though, about the state of the world and its future--if only I too could do a bunch of pushups and find one tiny group of scientists to blame and to stop.
So Linda (Sarah Conner) spent time gettin' prepared and learning skills from Latin American insurgents; of course, she could have just taken the intensive at the
SOA. But I suppose her conscience was a mite soft--she was mean with a rifle but killed no one in the end.
Why would anyone join the army? How much of one's life is one willing to write off in exchange for, uh, an education? I remain at home with my nice, safe books and my nice, safe job; watching T2, V for Vendetta, or a nice pirate movie when the urge arises.
Or even Lost. My fascination for
Rousseau is finally explained...
