So today is the morning of day 9 of NaNoWriMo, and my word count sits at right about 35,000. Doing well, should easily make the 50k requirement by Nov 30th. The novel, though, won't be anywhere near finished at 50k. A novel idea hit me on the way home just in time for nanowrimo. I may actually do it this year, all official-like, if I can hold off on writing on it long enough for November to start. I started on setting/character notes and story outline tonite. Still need to work more on the story outline but the most important basics are there to keep the idea ( Read more... )

I am no great writer by any stretch, but even I have standards. Since I have been writing so much lately, it seemed like I should list them out just in case anyone wants to know what I think about the subject.
