Well, this week has been much better than last week. Much much much much better.
Also, tennis:
Novak won! Yaaaay!
Talk about a marathon match. Longest men's Grand Slam final of the Open Era. Can you imagine playing a sport as physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding as tennis for 6 straight hours? Ridiculous.
I need to go back through my files and see the other two versions of this photo from '11 and '08.
I like the colors in this one (as well as the subject matter, ha)-- potential desktop photo?
I like it when he wears black. XD
Someone gave Novak a wombat. :)
Now that the Open is over, I really have been significantly more productive. I'm already done with the reading for one of my classes for next week, and since the other class is canceled I can space that reading out a little more. It also means I don't have to write a single response paper for the coming week! What with all this "free" time, I've decided to spend the weekend at home. This means I will be devoting 9 hours of my life to driving, but whatever, it's worth it (hopefully). I didn't accomplish what I set out to today, because I opted to do Thursday's work today, but that's ok. Plus I have some more time to work with to get things done. I'm not entirely burned out yet, surprisingly.
