Right, so I was glimpsing over the job listings at the Tulane website, and I noticed that most were on Magazine Street, which I've Heard is in walking distance. And I, knowing nothing about N.O. or the Tulane area (yeah, I'm JUST realizing this!!), would like to know if it's a super far or do-able walk, and also, if it would be safe walking back from there late-ish. I'm coming from a small town, and as far as I know, in real cities, rapists lurk behind every corner, even in middle of the day!
Who else needs to find a non-work-study jobs?
Does anyone have suggestions on how I can find one?
Who's SOOO excited... I mean, like, so few days before I actually meet you wonderful people. Which reminds me, we all need to meet in person sometime soon. I imagine I'll run into some of you and not even know it! Just for your info, I'm Muslim, and wear a scarf hijab thing, and I don't know how many others will be, so that's the best way to recognize me. Please come and say Hi!!
