i had an interview yesterday for a different job. still a receptionist, but with benefits, better hours (9-4 mon thru fri) and it's in media, so my commute would be 8 minutes both ways instead of 30

just remember this.... if they didn't need you, would they even remotely hesitate to lay you off? probably not.

That is a def a hard situation!

But i agree with the first comment....you are your own person and your job should not make you feel miserable. You couldn't have known what could happen within a year.
