Shipping off to Sleep
That was weird. Despite how pissy and frusturated and emo I was yesterday, I feel pretty damn good today.
I was going to tell the people at Antec to just cancel the order for the spare part, but the stupid fuckers again closed my ticket after the first reply. So fuck them. Since I had to use UPS 3-day again for shipping (Next lowest was $75, and I can't justify that much for shipping on a $120 purchase), there's a (somewhat good) chance it will come fucked up again, so the cover may come in handy yet. If not, maybe I'll look into painting it blue or something.
I bought new underwear for the first time today in like two years. :O I have something like a dozen pairs, but half of them are starting to really wear out, so I figured it's time. I really need to buy new jeans, shorts, khakis, and dress shirts, too, but I absolutely HATE clothes shopping. I can't put my finger on why, but man do I hate it.
Awesome news today: Ed, Edd, and Eddy finally got a boxset release! It's $15 on Amazon. I'm not going to buy it just yet because A) I might be able to get it locally and B) if I get another item worth $12 or something, I can get free shipping. So I need to figure out what I need that's $12. Perhaps a good, cheap PC game... any recommendations?
I'm thinking about getting a mattress set. I thought about it last term as well, and decided on a cot instead because it was much cheaper. However, I don't think I'm sleeping very well on the cot. I'm going to wait until my PC is paid off, then see where I stand.
I really wish I had my new PC put together. :( Oh, and it cost me like $40 to ship it back, twice as much as shipping was here. :/ Damn bulk rates.
