Well, doesn't misery love company.
Now my printer has apparently gone to the shitter; no matter how many time I clean the heads, it still won't print right. I got it the best I could before I ran out of my color inks (DESPITE THE FACT I WASN'T PRINTING WITH THEM), and then printed out the stuff so I could return the case as it is.
I went ahead and ordered a new one (this one will be returned for a refund), and I wound up having to use UPS again. The cheapest Fedex option was fucking $75- more than half of the cost for the case itself. Even the two-day UPS option was that much.
Fuck me.
So hopefully it will ship tomorrow and I'll get it Friday. Maybe. And hopefully it won't be shitted up again.
I tried looking for a local computer store where I might be able to pick the case up (or one like it), and all I could find were tiny software developers. Half of the addresses were to someplace in a residential neighborhood.
