My baby is 10 years old
Masha’s birthday always starts for me the night before - I was induced at around 8pm Israeli time, and Masha was born at 4:30am on 1st November 2002. I was born again with her - this time as a mum to such a beautiful baby.
She is so much like me, and she is so different. So talented, so kind, so emotional, needs her mummy and daddy so much. This is the one thing which I didn’t have at her age - a daddy who would be around every day of my life, so important…
What would it be like in another 10 years? She will be a grown up lady, independent, but would still probably need her mummy and daddy to be there for her. Sometimes. Not too often. My task for the next 10 years is to find the right balance - not be too pressuring, but guide her in the right direction. Whatever she feels the right direction might be for her… And I want my baby to be happy, to enjoy life to its fullest.
