H2O and Burgers
It's Friday night and the store is almost totally dead. Seriously close to flat-lining here. If it wasn't for the D&D group (Which is suppose to be having it's last game as I speak) it would be totally empty and devoid of life other then myself. I don't like what this says for the future of my little game store, because dammit! This is the fun job! The fun job that pays well! It's not allowed to go under!
I'm foolishly optimistic that the only reason things are so quiet is due to the fact that it's August and the weather was overly sunny, therefore people have decided to go out of town or something equally 'not here'. Total suck-age. Then again, I suppose this means that I'll be closing early enough though, so it looks like the little gang will be hitting the bar early for the warm up to Ember's Second Annual 21st Birthday Bonanza!
Yeah, I did say second.
Anyways, we're going to do this thing right and head over to Celebrities to make our ears bleed while having too many horribly over-priced drinks.
Ironically, in the 10 minutes it's taken since I began typing this, I've had about seven people come in and they're all staying for Game Night. Amen for that!
Oh! Also, just a heads up for those of you that would be interested; The Boys are back in town! I'm posting my first official sighting of the new season. Spotted the sign on my way into work a long with the film trucks. October 4th is a very long time to wait though..But you know what? The Car! Oh God, how I've missed that car!..And, you know..Sam and Dean.
On a side note: I want a Soap Box. A real, old fashion Soap box. The kind made out of wood, that was used to carry packages of soap in. Occasionally, I would set it on the ground and stand on it to yell "FUCK!" at the top of my lungs. That's really the only reason I would have it, and it would be pretty fun.
